Vandium Print Toner

Vanadium alone produces deep-yellow to orange colored images, but when combined with an iron salt, such as ferric oxalate, the yellow image of the vanadium ferrocyanide and the flue image of the ferri-ferrocyanide form a brilliant green. This is a most unusual and difficult to use toner. It is the only toner that produces a true, bright green. When it works, it looks beautiful. Unfortunately, a great deal of trail and error is required to get it to work.

Part A
Chemical Amount Units
Water 120 ml
Ferric Chloride 0.5 g
Oxalic Acid (satuated) 30 ml
Vandium Chloride 1 g
Nitric Acid (concentrate) 2.5 ml

Part B
Chemical Amount Units
Water 120 ml
Potassium Ferricyanide 3 g

USAGE
Start with an extremely dark print. Mix 1 part A and 1 part B with 20 parts water for the working solution.
